In early March 2020, just before San Francisco instituted the first COVID lockdown, I participated in a night photography workshop conducted by Tim Baskerville (http://www.thenocturnes.com/). I enjoyed my time interacting with many avid photographers. Little did we know that life was going to change so significantly within a few days.
The workshop was conducted at Mare Island, a former US Navy shipyard in Vallejo, which provided an almost unlimited range of photographic possibilities. I look forward to visiting Mare Island again to make more photographs.
